Limewood Care Home is a purpose built service in Stafford, providing specialist dementia, nursing and respite care for 59 residents. The home offers a structured and supportive environment for individuals with complex health needs, combining clinical expertise with a strong focus on dignity, wellbeing and person centred care.

Activities Lead 

• £13.71 per hour
• Contracted to 37.5 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• Onsite parking
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As Activities Lead, this role plays a key part in enhancing residents' wellbeing through meaningful engagement and person centred activities. Working within a complex care environment, the role focuses on creating structured, stimulating and enjoyable experiences that support both emotional and cognitive wellbeing.

Working closely with the Home Manager and wider team, the role involves planning and delivering a varied programme of activities tailored to individual needs, abilities and interests. This includes both group and one to one engagement, ensuring every resident has the opportunity to participate and feel included.

The role also involves building positive relationships with residents, encouraging social interaction and supporting a calm, positive and inclusive environment. Creativity, organisation and a genuine passion for improving quality of life are key to success in this role.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in activities, care or a similar role is beneficial
• A creative, enthusiastic and engaging approach
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to plan and deliver structured activity programmes
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently
• A genuine passion for supporting individuals with complex needs
