Ethics & Compliance Specialist

LRN is seeking an Ethics and Compliance Specialist to support the continued growth of our global business. Specifically, this position supports the E&C Advisory team in all aspects of the development, delivery, and management of E&C solutions and content as a growth pathway to leading partner (client) work. In addition to an alignment with our core values, which is essential, we believe the following skills, knowledge, and abilities are necessary to perform well in this role.

The individual in this role will have the opportunity to:

  • Support the success of Advisory Services in a variety of ways, with an emphasis on supporting the delivery of LRNs Code of Conduct, Strategic Program Evaluation, and Policy Simplification services (see detail on next page); we anticipate that a successful individual will transition from a project support to project leadership role
  • Build strong relationships with E&C Advisory colleagues, enlistment (sales), and engagement (account management) colleagues
  • Enable team efficiency, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing through the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of team platforms and tools (e.g., project plans, tracking tools, financial data, intranet portal, file-sharing, templates, presentations, etc.)
  • Promote continued innovation and growth in our business via research and analysis that supports the enhancement of existing tools and resources as well as the creation of new ones
  • Maintain and interpret a global database of code of conduct data through regular data collection, analysis, and synthesis
  • Evaluate legal, ethics, and compliance documents for trends, themes, and values

Code of Conduct Services

  • Serve as the first point of contact for LRNs Enlistment & Engage (E&E) teams for new Code Services opportunities
  • Perform assessments and benchmarking of partner/prospect Codes of Conduct using LRNs Code Assessment Tool and present results to partner/prospect
  • Collaborate with E&E and RFP team to prepare Code Services proposals and RFP responses
  • Create and maintain Code Services training materials for E&E to increase sales proficiency
  • Train E&E on Code Services practice (diagnostic, offering, pricing, process, resources)
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Code Services pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and other collateral
  • Collaborate with E&E colleagues ensure to proper Salesforce record-keeping
  • Provide project management backup for Code maintenance and Code translations
  • Shadow and support on key Code projects from inception to delivery as a growth opportunity, with the expectation of transitioning into a Code project leadership role

Strategic Program Evaluation (SPE) and Policy Simplification Services

  • Act as primary interface with partner on logistics, scheduling, and other project communications
  • Manage project discovery process with partner and review with Senior E&C Advisor
  • Create and maintain document organization and sharing with internal and external teams
  • Support Senior E&C Advisor with key project elements, including partner interviews, final reports, and project follow ups
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of SPE and Policy Simplification pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and other collateral
  • Shadow and support on key Policy Simplification projects from inception to delivery as a growth opportunity, with the expectation of transitioning into a Policy Simplification project leadership role


  • 5 years professional experience or equivalent
  • 2-3 years in the Ethics and Compliance or equivalent field
  • Legal experience a plus
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Ability to speak non-English languages (desired)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Sound critical thinking and critical reasoning skills
  • Superbly organized and in possession of strict attention to detail
  • Experience with project management
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable presenting to senior-level executives (both internal and external)
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement and work with minimal supervision once oriented to the work
