Position 1 Recruitment is hiring an experienced Quality Inspector for a leading engineering manufacturer. Ideal for candidates with quality control experience in hazardous area and high-pressure equipment.

Role Overview:
Ensure all products meet strict quality standards throughout manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Inspect incoming products: dimensional checks, electrical resistance, coating, PMI.

* Review material/test reports for compliance and traceability.

* Manage rejections, corrective actions, and liaise with external providers.

* Verify parts, conduct visual/electrical testing, and prepare for dispatch.

* Keep accurate inspection records and resolve issues with production teams.

* Support training of new staff.

* Work to BS EN ISO 9001, Quality & H&S standards.

Requirements:

* Experience in FMCG or non-food manufacturing inspection.

* Strong knowledge of ISO 900 standards.

* Ability to read engineering drawings.

* Independent, organized, and team-oriented.

Hours: Mon-Thu 07:30-16:30, Fri 07:30-12:30
