Altum Consulting have partnering with a multinational group that have a global footprint, they are seeking a Group Tax Manager to lead group-level tax reporting and compliance.

This is a broad, high-impact role covering tax governance, transfer pricing, and advisory work on a variety of cross-border projects.

You'll work closely with the Head of Tax and senior stakeholders across finance and operations, contributing to the ongoing development of the tax function.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Reporting

  • Lead monthly and year-end group tax reporting processes.
  • Support tax cash flow forecasting and budgeting.
  • Build expertise in internal systems to ensure accurate tax accounting.

Tax Compliance

  • Oversee UK corporate and indirect tax compliance.
  • Coordinate with local finance teams on global filings and documentation.

Transfer Pricing

  • Assist with the development and implementation of group transfer pricing policies.
  • Ensure consistency in transfer pricing across international operations.

Governance & Risk

  • Maintain and strengthen the group's tax governance and control framework.
  • Contribute to risk register updates and tax policy improvements.

Advisory & Projects

  • Provide commercially focused tax advice across a range of international projects.
  • Identify planning opportunities and support strategic business decisions.

Process & Systems

  • Drive improvements in data management, automation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams on transformation initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • UK qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CTA).
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in international tax, ideally within a multinational group or Big 4.
  • Strong technical understanding of UK corporate tax and IFRS tax accounting.
  • Experience managing group tax reporting in-house.
  • Practical knowledge of transfer pricing frameworks and documentation.
  • Commercially minded, with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
  • Strong systems orientation and advanced Excel skills.
