Quotations Processor

Salary- £23,000 - £26,0000 per annum depending on experience

Location: Snodland, Kent

Benefits - 25 days annual leave per year, discount scheme, contribution pension, Optician vouchers and many more benefits

Hours - Full-time Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4.45pm (Fridays 8.30am-4.15pm)

Our client, a leading specialist in engineering, manufacturing and production worldwide is looking for an experienced Quotations Processor to join their team at Snodland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high level of support to customers for technical information and issuing quotations to suit required specification. Responsible for the entry of all quotes onto the company's ERP system. Managing the customers' expectations, proactively communicating updates in a timely and professional manner and monitoring and progressing projects through the system whilst meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

* Dealing with enquiries and general customer liaison

* Working alongside the external sales team to ensure customers' requirements are understood and expectations are met

* Preparation of quotations including clarification of detail from customers and external sales team, and investigation of competitor products

* Ensuring any customer purchase orders received have comprehensive clear and concise supporting detail before handing over to the Contract Coordination Team to be processed

* Being first point of contact for the customer for all contact relating to their enquiry

* Ensuring all contract review documents and discount authorisations are completed

* Requisition of supplier quotes and cross-site products

* Updating external sales of inhouse activity

Skills and Experience

* Data entry experience is required

* Customer service experience

* Internal sales and/or estimating skills essential for the role

* Similar commercial-related role would serve the candidate well

* Experience within a manufacturing environment

* An understanding of the construction industry would be desirable

* An aptitude for understanding technical information would be useful

* Experience working with internal CRM Systems could be advantageous
