About the Company
Our client is a well-established and growing group of marine businesses operating across retail, e-commerce, and safety servicing. With a network that spans marine chandlery, marine safety, and angling safety equipment, they support both retail customers and an expanding B2B network.
Due to ongoing growth and new market opportunities, they are now looking to expand their field sales team with an enthusiastic and driven individual.

The Role
We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated Field Sales Representative to help grow our client's presence across the marine spares, safety, and angling markets. You will spend 3-4 days per week on the road, meeting new prospects, nurturing existing accounts, and helping develop the business in key regions.
You'll report directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and work closely with the operations and general management teams.

Key Responsibilities

🧭 Field Sales

Carry out regular face-to-face visits with customers and prospects (3-4 days per week)
Prospect door-to-door, particularly within the inland angling and fisheries sector
Identify and onboard new service partners for safety equipment servicing🔗 Account Management

Support and grow the existing B2B servicing network across the UK
Build lasting relationships with small marine operators, tackle shops, and fisheries🚀 Business Development

Develop new business in the coastal, Thames, and inland marine markets
Drive sales of safety equipment and develop new account relationships🤝 Collaboration & Reporting

Work with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and support
Provide regular progress updates to managementWhat We're Looking For

Previous field sales experience (marine, safety, or angling sector preferred)
Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
Confidence in building new relationships and networks from scratch
Familiarity with marine safety equipment, tackle shops, or inland fisheries is a plus
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)
Willingness to travel across the South Coast, East and West regions, and occasionally further afield
