Reed are hiring in Stalybridge!We are partnered with a leading client in the environmental sustainability and recycling sector, and are thrilled to share an opportunity for a Billing Specialist to join their team. The roleAs a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering excellent invoice and settlement processes for clients and subcontractors, and communicating effectively across departments. 

• £24,000 - £27,000 pa DOE
• Full-Time, Permanent
• 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
• Hybrid working - Office based in SK15 

Key accountabilities

• Create invoices / settlements
• Communication across departments
• Following procedures and comprehending invoicing instructions (including uploads to client portals)
• Processing detailed information accurately 
• Monitor progress of client orders in line with SLAs and identifying concerns 
• Management of excel database and reporting metrics
• Data extraction from accounting software 
• Ensure invoices are properly coded to accounts and divisions 

Skills & experience

• Billing experience preferred 
• High level of attention to detail
• Well organised
• Excellent communicator - both written and verbal
• Competent with MS office (including excel)
