Active Recruitment are looking for a PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Redbridge, East London. The position is due to commence in September 2025. The school are happy to accept applications from NQT/ECT's as well as experienced PE Teachers.
The role is to initially cover maternity leave on a 0.8 contract and the contract is direct with the school.
School Information:
Our client is an 11-19 mixed school based in the London Borough of Redbridge, East London.
They are looking for a PE Teacher for fixed term, 0.8 contract starting September 2025.
The PE department has recently benefited from extra funding which has allowed them to install a brand new gym, outdoor equipment, a new cricket pitch and outdoor fitness equipment.
Experienced PE Teachers and NQT PE Teachers are welcome to apply. The successful Teacher will be asked to teach PE from Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position you must have:
*PGCE, QTS or a recognised Teaching Qualification,
*Knowledge of teaching PE up to KS4.
*DBS on the update service,
*The willingness to undertake extra-curricular activities including after school sports clubs and tournaments.
