Band Saw Operative (CNC Controlled - Kasto Machine)

6AM - 2PM / 2PM - 10PM ALTERNATE SHIFTS EACH WEEK

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Band Saw Operative to join a well-established metal stockholding company.

This role involves operating CNC-controlled Kasto bar saws to process a range of specialty metals to precise customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating CNC-controlled Kasto bar saws

*

Processing specialty metals accurately to specification

*

Conducting quality inspections and taking precise measurements

*

Performing routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting

*

Using hand tools and measuring equipment accurately

*

Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times

*

Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

*

Proven experience operating Kasto bar saws

*

Strong understanding of quality control procedures

*

Competence in using measuring equipment and hand tools

*

Good communication skills

*

Knowledge of workplace health and safety standards

Desirable:

*

Previous experience within manufacturing or metal processing

*

Technical training or relevant certification

*

Forklift licence (not essential but advantageous)
