Job Title: Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Temporary ongoing role

Hourly rate: £40 - 42 per hour Target rate DOE

Job Type: Temporary Contract, Inside, NO LTD COMPANY, SORRY

Electrical  bias, ideally dual skilled

Client: Global Consumer FMCG Manufacturing Company

Location: Halifax area 

Contract Type: Temporary Contract 3-6 months 

You will be joining a Global manufacturing FMCG leader with a huge number of sites across the Globe. The manufacturing factory site you will be joining is world-class and you will be maintaining assets that produce Global market leading consumer products that people buy every second of every day.
Key Responsibilities - Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Contract

To service adjust and repair machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe manner, maintaining process and packaging equipment

To examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and plan of action for improvements

Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules

Share good ideas to form mini projects to improve the plant performance including machinery modifications
Qualifications & Requirements - Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer - Contract

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or maintenance or similar manufacturing
FMCG , Food and Drink, Packaging or related background

HND or HNC Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering

Or equivalent of any of the above in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background
PLC expereince preferred
