Universal Construction are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client on an exciting Commercial project in Oxford.

The Client

My client has been operating for almost a century, in that time they have completed a number of high-profile projects across the UK. They are looking to continue their tradition of high-quality work with the addition of an excellent Project Manager.

The Role

* Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers

* Hiring construction workers

* Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines

* Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials

* Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively and to a high standard

* Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending

* Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email or meetings in person

* Negotiating with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors

The Candidate

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* At least 4 years experience in Project Management

* Strong team management and leadership skills

* Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills

* Project management skills such as time management, project budgeting, resource management and project scheduling

* Must have own car
