📍 Location: London
🕘 Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
💻 Remote-based with on-site flexibility required (including one week for training & occasional team days)

We're looking for a Specifications Technologist to join a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment in London. You'll be part of a dedicated Technical team ensuring that food specifications are completed accurately, on time, and to the highest standards. This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity ideal for someone experienced in food specifications—or a recent Food Science graduate looking to build a career in technical compliance and nutrition.

Your Responsibilities:

Create and manage finished product specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer and business requirements.

*

Conduct detailed checks of product artwork to ensure it aligns with agreed specifications and deadlines.

*

Maintain online retailer systems, keeping all product and site details accurate and current.

*

Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external customers, supporting audits and visits in your area of expertise.

*

Participate in internal audits as part of the audit team.

*

Support technical systems with complaint data, KPI reporting, and analytical data input.

*

Administer projects to ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems.

*

Complete nutritional verification tasks and other technical administrative duties as required.

About You:

*

Previous experience in a specifications or technical role within food manufacturing is ideal.

*

Comfortable using online specification systems and confident reviewing technical documents.

*

A Food Science degree (or similar) is beneficial—especially if you're passionate about nutrition and compliance.

*

Highly organised with strong IT and problem-solving skills.

*

Excellent verbal and written communication.

*

Able to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
