Our client, a leading distribution company based in Yorkshire, is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Manager to oversee operations during the weekend + 3 additional days through the week.

The Role:

As the Warehouse Team Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the distribution centre during the late shift. Key duties include managing a dynamic team, ensuring KPIs are met, and maintaining high standards of health & safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the team, ensuring effective performance and staff engagement.
Monitor and report on operational KPIs, focusing on productivity, quality, and safety.
Coordinate with other shift managers to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Manage resources effectively, including staffing, equipment, and stock levels.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in a warehousing environment, as team leader, supervisor or a shift manager.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
