Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an engaging and challenging curriculum to Year 3 pupils, fostering their academic progress and personal development. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and effective approach to teaching and learning across the school.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Year 3.

Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs.

Promote positive behaviour and a supportive classroom environment.

Work collaboratively with staff to develop best practice and contribute to school initiatives.

Maintain effective communication with parents and carers to support pupil development.

Candidate Profile

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.

*

Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils, ideally Year 3.

Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and assessment frameworks.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

Commitment to inclusive teaching and raising pupil achievement.

Reflective and motivated practitioner with a willingness to engage in professional development.
