Adecco is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Cheshire Police for a dedicated and proactive Lead Mobile Cleaner. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across multiple police sites.

Hourly Rate: £12.55
Hours: 37 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Contract: Temporary, with potential for permanent placement
Location: Mobile role covering Cheshire - key areas include Warrington, Runcorn, and Chester

Please note: A full, clean UK driving licence is essential for this role due to its mobile nature. Applicants without this will not be considered.

About the Role: As Lead Mobile Cleaner, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a professional cleaning service across various police premises. This hands-on role involves supervising a team of cleaners, ensuring service standards are met, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily cleaning operations and ensure compliance with service level agreements
Supervise, support, and train cleaning staff, including conducting inductions for new starters
Work alongside the cleaning team to meet schedules and targets
Manage rotas and arrange cover for absences and holidays
Monitor attendance and report absences to management
Identify and report equipment needs and faults
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Carry out deep cleaning tasks and respond to emergency cleaning requirements
Maintain accurate records and liaise with site contacts as needed
Travel between sites and manage time effectively
Weekend work may occasionally be required
Manual handling will be part of the roleSkills & Experience Required

Proven experience with cleaning equipment, products, and techniques
Ability to train and supervise staff effectively
Strong organisational and planning skills
Resilience and reliability under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Competency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
