Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? A nurturing and well-respected Wirral based primary school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time basis.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including SEMH, ASD, and MLD.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and managing classroom routines.

  • Promote the emotional well-being and independence of pupils.

  • Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.

  • Build trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEND (in a school or care setting).

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
