Client Account Manager 

Accountancy Practice | Torquay | Office-Based

A well-established accountancy practice based in Torquay is looking to appoint a Client Account Manager to join its growing team.

This role would suit a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with audit experience, ideally gained within practice, who is looking for a stable, office-based position with strong client exposure.

The Role

You will work closely with a portfolio of clients, carrying out audit and assurance-style work, preparing and reviewing financial information, and ensuring compliance with relevant professional standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Audit and certification of client accounts in line with applicable technical guidance

• Preparation and review of financial statements

• Liaising directly with clients and responding to accounting and audit queries

• Supporting basic corporation tax filings where required

• Working extensively with Excel and Word, alongside other accounting systems

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified

• Proven audit experience

• Practice Experience

• Strong Excel and Word skills with good general IT capability

• Self-motivated, detail-focused, and comfortable working in a collaborative office environment

Location & Working Pattern

• Office-based role in Torquay

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Salary & Benefits

• £40,000 – £45,000, depending on experience

• 5 weeks’ holiday plus public holidays
