Job Title: Site Manager

Location: Northwest England 

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + car allowance 

Start Date: September 2025

Company Overview:

Our client is an established main contractor with a strong portfolio of refurbishment and new build projects across the public sector. With a growing pipeline of work secured for the autumn, they are now looking to add an experienced Site Manager to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring health & safety, quality, and programme compliance
• Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to specification and schedule
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain site records, reporting progress to senior management
• Lead refurbishment and new build projects in sectors including healthcare, education, and local authority

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience managing refurbishment projects (public sector focus: healthcare, schools, universities, council work)
• Exposure to new build is beneficial but not essential
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Trade background beneficial but not essential

Qualifications:

• CSCS (required)
• SMSTS (required)
• First Aid at Work (required)
• Asbestos Awareness (desirable)
