Learning Support Assistant - Primary SEND (Full-Time)

Milk Education is proud to be working with a nurturing and inclusive Primary SEND School in L27, supporting pupils aged 4-11 with a range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

We are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dedicated team. You'll be supporting small classes of around 10-12 pupils, working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse and complex needs

*
Assist with communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and sensory-based approaches

*
Support pupils with personal care, emotional regulation, and behaviour management

*
Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

*
Contribute to EHCP targets and collaborate with the wider support team

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary or specialist setting

*
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

*
Strong communication and teamwork skills

*
Willingness to support pupils with personal care and physical needs

*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
