Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Executive Support Officer for a local authority client in West London.
In this role, you will provide high-level executive support to the Executive Director and senior leadership team, managing calendars, coordinating meetings, and ensuring the smooth running of key business functions within the Environment and Neighbourhoods Directorate.
Key Duties:
- Provide executive support to senior leadership, including managing calendars, arranging meetings, and drafting correspondence.
- Coordinate business planning, performance management, and follow up on tasks and actions for the Directorate.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and documents, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with deadlines.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, manage complaints, and support the handling of FOIs and Member queries.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Proven experience in providing executive support to senior management, including diary management and meeting coordination.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in drafting reports, correspondence, and other documents with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including handling sensitive matters and maintaining confidentiality.
What's on offer:
Salary: £25ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
