We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to run a children’s residential home in Stretford. You’ll lead a dedicated team providing 24-hour care to children and young people with complex needs, ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, support, and compliance. This is a rewarding leadership role where your expertise will directly shape the future of vulnerable young people.

Key Details:

• Location: Old Hall Road, Stretford, Manchester
• Contract: 3-month temporary assignment
• Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours/week
• Pay Rate: £ 40-45 per hour
• Driving Required: Yes
• DBS: Enhanced with Children’s and Adult’s Barred List

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a residential care team across a 24-hour service.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding regulations.
• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and budget control.
• Manage staffing, training, and performance development.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support positive outcomes.

Requirements:

• Registration with Ofsted.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
• NVQ4 in Care Management.
• Minimum 1 year in a senior or management role within residential care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and children’s home regulations.
• Experience working with children and young people aged 10-18 with complex needs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and travel as needed.
