Full-Time | Short-Term Role | Immediate Start Available

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Hyde area of Stockport. This is a full-time, short-term role running until the May 2026 half term, providing vital support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

The school is looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping them to thrive in a supportive learning environment.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with SEND needs within the classroom

Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning

Providing 1:1 and small group support where required

Encouraging pupils' social, emotional and academic development

Creating a positive and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)

Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting

Patient, empathetic and adaptable approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A proactive and positive attitude towards supporting learning
