Butler Rose is proud to represent a top-tier accountancy practice with a long-standing reputation in the farming, estates, and private client sectors. Following their recent integration into a growing Top 40 group, this practice is now looking to appoint an Accounts Manager to join their friendly and high-performing team based in Thame.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) who's confident managing a portfolio of SME clients, ideally with experience or interest in the agricultural sector.
What you'll be doing: - Managing and reviewing the preparation of statutory accounts (FRS 102, 1A & 105)
- Overseeing workflow and deadlines, ensuring a smooth process across your portfolio
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for clients and reporting directly to Partners
- Getting involved in management development programmes and future leadership opportunities
What you'll need: - ACA or ACCA qualified with 3+ years' post-qualified UK experience
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience managing accounts jobs from planning to completion
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Agricultural sector experience or a desire to work in this space is a big plus
