About the Role:

As Sous Chef , you'll be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Head Chef in delivering a high standard of food during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and events. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing kitchen — perfect for someone who thrives on quality, teamwork, and consistency.

Responsibilities of the Sous Chef:

- Directs food preparation and collaborates with Head Chef
- Helps in the design of food menu.
- Produces high quality dishes, including both design and taste.
- Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
- Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
- Ensures the food is top quality and that the kitchen is a EHO standard of 5.
- Keeps stations and cleans as they go, also complies with food safety standards.
- Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen's performance.
- Prepares food to the Head Chefs standards.
- Trains new employees.
- Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
- Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

* - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients and procedures.

* - Time-management skills.

* - Ability to handle pressure.

Experience:

* - Sous chef experience for minimum 1 year

* - Food Safety Level 2
