Your new companyPrestigious public services organisation in Liverpool offering a 35-hour working week, hybrid working and an excellent employer contribution pension scheme.Your new roleReporting to the Finance Director and managing a team of 7 non-qualified and administrative staff. Duties and responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively to monitor income and expenditure across relevant business areas
- Provide trend analysis and forecasts to inform long-term strategic and resource planning
- Responsible for ensuring appropriate costings for external funding applications
- Responsible for providing operational KPI reporting to assist with resource planning
- Supporting the business partnering team to meet stakeholder expectations
- Oversee all financial transactions to ensure effective financial control
- Planning and managing the month-end and year-end process
- Maximise the use of business intelligence
- Liaise with external auditors
