SMC616 – Client Service Manager, Loan Agency

Overview:Excellent opportunity for an individual with experience of client service management/portfolio management and solid knowledge of Loan Agency/Project Finance to join a leading international Bank. Based in offices in London, the successful candidate will join an established team and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients/deals and working with internal teams to ensure that clients are offered the highest levels of client service, from mandate through to final repayment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of project finance/project bond transactions
  • Working with internal teams to ensure that the on-boarding and closing of a deal is professionally executed and that potential operational issues are flagged and addressed.
  • Building and developing the client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for escalation of issues and taking ownership of the action plans to resolve performance issues.
  • Ensuring that customer requirements are understood and that Company requirements and processes are explained.
  • Having full deal oversight, as well as managing the non-operational aspects of the deals (including the deal closing process, managing amendments, waivers and consent with internal and external parties and acting as a focal point for deal issue escalation).
  • Displaying a strong understanding of risk control matters, identifying areas for possible improvement and providing and implementing solutions. 

Qualifications

Previous relevant experience in a comparable role, with a strong understanding of the Syndicated Loan Market and Project Finance transactions.


·P
revious loan operations experience beneficial.


·Strong communication skills.


·Strong time management skills.
