We are currently recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Residential Child Support Workers to join our team in Basildon. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people and make a meaningful impact on their lives.

Role Overview

You will be working within a residential care setting, supporting young people aged 14-17 with behavioural and emotional needs. The role involves working on a 2:1 ratio, building positive and trusting relationships and helping young people develop life skills in a safe and nurturing environment.

Shift Pattern

* Must be flexible to do day and nights as the shifts vary

* Day shifts: 8:00am - 8:00pm

* Night shifts: 8:00pm - 8:00am

* 3-4 shifts per week required

Requirements

* Minimum 6 months' experience in one of the following:

* Residential care

* Schools

* Youth work

* Family support

* Strong understanding of supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours

* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Ability to work long shifts (12 hours)

* Minimum age: 21 years old
