Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce, is recruiting a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a specialist school in Telford. Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher and wider team in delivering engaging lessons and activities
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
Encourage independence, communication, and confidence in pupils
Help with classroom organisation and preparation of learning materials
Monitor and record pupil progress to support ongoing assessment

What We're Looking For:

A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience supporting children or adults with additional needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH) is desirable
Knowledge of Makaton, sign language, or alternative communication methods is a plus, but not essential
