Teaching Assistant Opportunities - Primary Schools (Bury Area)

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a wide network of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across the Bury area, including Radcliffe, Whitefield, Prestwich and Ramsbottom.

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across all primary year groups. Whether you have experience in general classroom support or specialist settings, we have a variety of roles available to suit your skills and interests.

About the Role:

Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils

Opportunities to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), and behavioural challenges

Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom management

Creating a positive and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children (in schools or similar settings) is desirable

A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A genuine passion for supporting children's progress and wellbeing
