SF Recruitment are recruiting for a QHSE Manager who will be reporting to the Group Managing Director responsible for working as part of a team to ensure that the company performs to the highest possible standards, producing safe and good quality products in a safe, healthy environment. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a quality culture driving continuous improvement leading from the front whilst bringing, educating, and developing employees across the companies on that journey. You will be required to attain new standards to allow the companies to expand its current and future business within its various sectors, including but not limited to Aerospace, Automotive, Defence and Medical.

Key Responsibilities:

- To cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance of the company.
- Monitor and advise on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.
- Consult with Customers and Supply Chain, regarding QHSE matters, ensuring full compliance to meet and exceed their expectations.
- Responsible for Company's QHSE processes and procedures to ensure the Company maintains its accreditations (ISO(Apply online only), BRC)
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures, identifying and assisting implementing improvements.
- Manage and monitor emergency procedures, signage, PPE, COSHH control etc.
- Report on Company's QHSE performance to the leadership team and statutory authorities as/when required.
- Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Conduct QHSE training courses using internal and external resources when required.
- Maintain awareness of evolving industry QHSE regulations and best practice and how they could be applied to the Company's operations.
- Function as Subject Matter Expert for QHSE matters.
- Produce further analysis and reports as required by the Directors, or HPI management from time to time.
- Able to perform process capabilities studies and report (PPK, CPK, PPAP etc.), be fully adverse with quality performance reporting, both internally and externally to technical customers.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Offer QHSE consultancy to the Company's subsidiaries and affiliates when required.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential (Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience):

- Manage the BRC standard within a packaging environment
- Experienced in managing and implementing Quality Management Systems
- Strong leadership skills to constantly drive safety and quality improvements
- Excellent computer skills.
- A "hands-on" implementer of processes and change
- Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner

Desirable:

- NEBOSH or similar qualification
- Proven QHSE professional from a highly regulated industry
- Quality Assurance qualification from an accredited body or through experience
