Religious Studies Teacher

We are seeking an RS Teacher to join a dynamic educational team in Wigan. This full-time position starts ASAP and runs until Easter, with the potential to extend. The role involves teaching religious studies to all year groups, providing a comprehensive and engaging curriculum.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RS lessons across all year groups.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Maintain up-to-date records of students' progress and attendance.
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent conferences, and other events.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching RS at various educational levels.
• Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
• Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
