Nelson Permanent Placements are currently representing our client who are a reputable international Manufacturing business. Our client are now looking for and experienced Robot Setter Operator to join the business on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Robot Setter Operator and will be responsible for the operational performance of the Fanuc machines. You will ensure the machines are kept in good working order and all PMS in the department are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensuring that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas and tooling

* Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role

* Work to Health and Safety within the work area

* Responsible for the quality of the product produced and raises any issues with the Quality department

* Responsible for an effective shift handover and takeover

* Ensures departmental and all company procedures are followed

* Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard

* Loading parts into automated robot process

* Fanuc controls

Hours of work:

You will be 39 hours per week working 2-week rota shift pattern -

* Shift 1 - Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am-1pm

* Shift 2 - Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm
