About the RoleJoining our team as a Logistics Controller you will provide day-to-day administrative support. You will ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.

Daily you will be responsible for:

·       Booking in/out customer's assets using EMS & Indysoft software

·       Be an integral part of the team managing the workflow to meet customer deadlines

·       Site pick up/drop off

·       Van runs to Derby as required, at least once a week

·       The safe & effective packing of assets for third party deliveries

·       Creating shipping notes on company database (Indysoft & EMS)

·       Arranging shipping to outside companies via courier

·      Run & examine weekly reports on outstanding items already shipped.

Requirements

·        Ideally 5 GCSE's level 4 or higher or equivalent - essential to be numerate and literate

·        Good IT knowledge across key MS Office applications

·        Driving Licence

·        Friendly and customer focussed

·        Ability to work under own direction and monitor own workload

·        Good communication skills with a good command of spoken and written English

·        Attention to detail and organisation skills
