JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision-engineering company in Welwyn Garden City to recruit 2 x CNC Turners/Setters with experience on Mazak and/or Fanuc controls. One position is available on Days, and one on a Back Shift with a 20% shift allowance. The Successful CNC Turner/Setter - Package:

£17.00 - £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Days:

Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Friday: 7:00am - 2:00pm

Back Shift:

Monday - Wednesday: 1:30pm - 12:00am

Thursday: 1:30pm - 11:00pm

The Successful CNC Turner/Setter - Requirements:

*

Experienced CNC Turner/Setter from a precision engineering or manufacturing environment

*

Skilled setting and operating CNC Lathes with Mazak (Mazatrol) and/or Fanuc controls

*

Ability to set machines from scratch, change tooling, adjust offsets and perform first-off checks

*

Confident producing small-to-medium batch work to tight tolerances

*

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

*

Strong understanding of precision measurement tools such as Micrometers, Verniers, Height Gauges

*

Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

*

Strong work ethic with a focus on producing right-first-time components
