Brief Overview about the Company/Role:
Our client, a leading engineering services provider in the power and renewables sector, is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to deliver high-value projects from tender through to post-construction. You will lead and support civil works, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers on a range of projects across the UK and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review ITT documents and prepare preliminary civil designs including earthworks, drainage, access roads, structures, and compounds

* Undertake risk assessments and develop scopes of work

* Liaise with contractors, estimators, and electrical teams to integrate civil requirements

* Support programme and resource planning and attend site visits

* Manage and review civil designs for compliance, cost-effectiveness, and value

* Coordinate between civil and electrical design teams

* Support procurement of subcontract packages and review commercial data

* Manage client interfaces and ensure contractual requirements are met

* Provide technical support and oversight during civil works

* Manage scope changes, risks, and associated cost/time impacts

* Review temporary works designs and conduct site audits

* Review as-built drawings and H&S documentation

* Capture lessons learned and contribute to process improvements

* Mentor and develop junior team members

Required Skills:

* Degree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent

* 5+ years post-graduate experience (Power & Renewables preferred)

* Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills

* Ability to manage full project lifecycle from tender through post-construction

* Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland
