Maintenance Manager 

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000

Shift: Days 

Location: Wilstead, Bedfordshire

Are you an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for leading high-performing engineering teams? We're looking for a proactive and hands-on professional to take ownership of engineering maintenance at our state of the art fast paced manufacturing facility in the Bedfordshire area. 

Skills required for the Maintenance Manager:

• Proven management experience within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety 
• Strong track record in managing external contractors
• Engineering Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Manage attendance, discipline, and performance reviews for shift-based engineering staff
• Deliver reactive and preventative maintenance services across both operational sites
• Allocate resources to resolve engineering issues within agreed timelines
• Collaborate with Production & Planning to reduce downtime and complete works efficiently
• Oversee contractor activity, ensuring commercial, performance, and H&S compliance
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times
• Manage the spares strategy and engineering budget
