About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a true leadership role within one of the UK's largest, most respected surfacing contractors. The business is investing heavily in talent, systems, customer experience and sales performance, and you'll sit at the heart of that transformation.

As Internal Sales Manager, you'll lead and develop a motivated internal sales team, driving commercial performance, improving sales processes, and raising the standard of customer engagement. This is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-accountability, high-support environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing, developing and coaching a team of 5+ internal sales professionals
Driving a high-performance culture through KPIs, coaching frameworks and clear expectations
Enhancing the customer experience by strengthening outbound activity and relationship-building
Improving the sales team's use of CRM, reporting and forecasting
Implementing structured 1:1s, performance plans and continuous development
Collaborating with regional operations and commercial teams
Supporting strategic growth plans across core infrastructure sectors

What You'll Bring

Minimum 3 years leading internal sales teams in a construction or related technical environment
Strong CRM discipline (Pipedrive experience preferred)
Ability to coach, motivate and elevate performance
A track record of improving sales processes and team capability
Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
Thrives in a structured, high-feedback environment
