Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, with a background working for a Main Contractor or drylining business?

Approach Personnel are proud to be partnered with a regional finishing company, who are currently on the look out for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor for the business, You will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of our projects and ensure continued financial success for the business.

What are we looking for?

* Prior experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a main contractor or similar drylining business.

* Quantity Surveying Degree.

* Nice to have, a RICS chartership.

* Strong understanding of materials, pricing & contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Experienced in taking off and ordering materials, including pre scheduling deliveries and load out lists.

* Confident in reviewing booking in / invoices and cross checking progress against. Must be able to accurately review and confident to challenge any overbooking / discrepancies.

* Accurately record progress, both internally for cost management / tracking purposes and externally through monthly applications.

* Work closely with the construction team to ensure successful, efficient delivery of projects.
