Zest Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and outstanding located in the heart of Lichfield and make a real difference in the lives of young learners. This role is set to commence in September for the duration of the first term, with possibility for extension.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

• Providing one-to-one or small group supportto pupils, particularly those with additional needs

• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment

• Supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development

• Assisting with administrative and organisational tasks as required

This can be a full-time or part-time position, ideally suited to someone passionate about making a positive impact on children’s education.

We are looking for a Level 3 qualified (preferred) Teaching Assistant with experience working in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A nurturing and patient approach

• Good understanding of child development and classroom practice

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff

• Initiative and the ability to adapt to different situations and needs

• Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude
