Pure are delighted to be working in partnership with the University of Cambridge Finance Division as they continue on an exciting Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT) Project which is highly significant and will have a University-wide impact. The project forms part of an overall Finance Transformation Programme (FTP).
The Finance Division are seeking three Team Leaders to make an impact across the key financial service functions.
The Accounting Services Team Leader is responsible for managing the delivery of core financial operations across the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Helpdesk teams as required. The role ensures the accurate and timely delivery of financial transactions and services in line with policies.
This role will provide strategic and operational leadership across the key accounting service functions supporting the team leads in ensuring robust financial controls, supporting divisional objectives by driving process improvements and the management of team members.
You will have -
- Demonstrable experience in financial services across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management or finance helpdesk
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, excellent organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft office and finance systems.
- AAT qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Experience supervising staff and coordinating operations.
This position will be offered on a contract basis until 31st December 2027.
