We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Coventry, Coventry, starting at Easter.

This is a full-time position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire students and drive strong academic outcomes. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and confident ECTs.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations

*

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners

*

Assess, monitor and track pupil progress

*

Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

*

Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4

*

Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the GCSE curriculum

*

Excellent classroom management skills

*

The ability to motivate and inspire learners

*

A commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations
