Senior Estimator - Civil Engineering

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor looking to add an experienced Senior Estimator to their pre-construction team. This is a key hire as they continue to grow across infrastructure, groundworks, and civils packages.

What you'll be doing:

Leading the pricing of civil engineering tenders (public & private sector)

*

Preparing cost estimates, take-offs, and compiling bid submissions

*

Working closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure accuracy

*

Engaging with supply chain and identifying cost-saving opportunities

*

Mentoring junior estimators (if applicable)

What they're looking for:

*

Strong background in civil engineering projects - ideally with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors

*

Proven experience in estimating across roads, drainage, earthworks, and infrastructure

*

Confident with estimating software (e.g. Candy, Causeway, Conquest - or similar)

*

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

*

Able to hit the ground running in a busy, deadline-driven environment
