Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a BIM Co-Ordinator on a 6 month contract, based in London

Role Summary

· Perform all aspects of digital project delivery. This position will perform basic aspects of the digital project management strategy to further the Clients position and facilitate collaboration with activities, pursuits, and projects.

· Focus on supporting the Structural discipline to work on various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.

· Perform design in Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination and collaborates on critical digital delivery initiatives following the ISO 19650 set of standards.

· Perform tasks that support the development of digital delivery standards, processes, and tools focusing on Structural services

· Perform digital delivery tasks using QA/QC standards to adhere to digital delivery scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.

· Identify clash detection and follows reporting and resolution process.

· Contributes to all aspects of project setup, such as Structural model file setup, digital project setup; cloud services; miscellaneous support tasks, etc.

· Prepare and present digital model presentations for clients.

· Execute changes to Structural simulations for internal and external stakeholders.

· Research and compile required project-related data and performs metadata audits.

· Provide Structural discipline specific digital delivery content, such as parameteric families for the entire project lifecycle.

· Provide project budget estimates for digital delivery modelling scope.

· Define and recommend digital delivery methods, procedures, and tools in collaboration with the Structural project team.

· Responsible for developing and integrating the digital delivery schedule and project compliance.

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Complies with all company and legal policies and standards

Requirements:

· Full UK driving licence

· Bachelors degree in Architecture, Virtual Design, Construction, Engineering Technology or related field, and 3 years of experience OR · Foundation degree / HND in Architecture, Virtual Design, Construction, Engineering Technology or related field and 4 years of experience, Required. OR · HNC in related field and 5 years of experience OR · High School Qualification and 6 years of experience

· Ability to learn and effectively utilize new software programs.

· Ability to integrate digital delivery into projects at all workstages.

· Advanced knowledge of digital delivery software, Structural discipline specific software, standards, and project deliverables.

· Ability to integrate Structural Models with multiple stakeholders across various software platforms using platform as Revit, Naviswork, Tekla, and ACC.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail, facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

· Structural Engineering background. Bachelor degree.

· Dynamo, PyRevit or other structural information exchange knowledge.

· DAX or Power Query knowledge.

· Coding language knowledge as Python or visual scripting.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

Physical

* Primarily an office working environment. Must have the ability to use repetitive hand motion and the ability to grasp and type using general office equipment.

* Must be able to sit for long periods of time, talk, hear, walk and stand.

* Must be able to lift and or move up to 10 pounds.

* Travel to a client site may require traversing potentially ungraded ground, steps, ladders, etc.

Cognitive

- Requires the ability to collect and analyse information to make decisions

- Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment and solve problems; the ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities; the ability to read and apply financial and quantitative analysis; the ability to articulate and speak in front of others; the ability to work under stressful situations, good cognitive skills, ability to maintain accuracy in work, and the ability to concentrate on more than one task at a time.

- Must have the ability to understand and apply written/verbal instructions and the ability to delegate instructions

- Schedule and Work Activities 40 hours per week, with travel to Client

- Travel Ability to travel nationally is required for the role. Level of travel may vary over time depending on project and client requirements, but expectation is up to 25% of working time spent travelling per year depending on project location

- The individual should be able to book and arrange all of their own travel and accommodation
