About the Role:

As Team Leader, you'll take a hands-on role in supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs, while guiding and inspiring your colleagues to deliver exceptional care. Working a 2 days on / 4 days off shift pattern with sleep-ins, you'll ensure daily routines run smoothly, care plans are followed, and each young person receives the nurturing support they deserve.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading shifts and supporting the team in day-to-day care delivery

• Acting as a positive role model for children and colleagues

• Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging home environment

• Supporting education, leisure, and personal development activities

• Maintaining accurate records and care plans

• Building strong relationships with professionals and families

• Ensuring safeguarding is embedded in all aspects of care

About You:

• Experience in residential childcare (leadership experience desirable)

• NVQ Level 3 Children & Young People or willingness to complete

• Strong communication and team leadership skills

• Calm, compassionate, and resilient in challenging situations

• Full UK driving licence essential
