We are hiring an experienced Bench Joiner for a full-time role based in a busy bespoke joinery workshop in Bedford. This is a hands-on joinery position for a skilled craftsperson who enjoys working on high-quality, made-to-measure joinery and Cabinetry.

🔧 Job Description

As a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker, you will be part of a specialist team creating custom Joinery and Cabinetry for a range of UK clients across commercial, educational, retail, and residential interiors. You will work from technical drawings to produce Joinery, cabinetry, counters, fitted storage, and more.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

Cut, assemble, and finish custom joinery products using traditional and modern methods

*

Work with hardwood, MDF, veneer, laminates, and solid surfaces

*

Use and operate hand tools as well as machinery

*

Read and interpret technical joinery drawings

*

Maintain clean, accurate, and efficient working practices in the workshop

✅ Required Experience:

*

Previous experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker, or Furniture Maker

*

Strong attention to detail and pride in quality joinery

*

Able to work independently from joinery drawings

*

Familiar with workshop tools and joinery equipment
