Systems Engineer

Location: Portsmouth, Hybrid

Salary: £50k DOE

What you'll be doing:

Apply the systems engineering principles to support the design of systems through the entire engineering lifecycle
Discern and decompose requirements to system and sub-system level
Undertake system design decomposition and modelling to subsystem level
Help to define and articulate acceptance strategies in order to verify requirement compliance
Assist with technical reviews and verification of engineering technical design
Collect and analyse real-world system data to understand performance, reliability, and usage patterns
Analyse large, complex datasets

Your skills and experiences:

Degree qualified
Understands engineering life cycle principles and approaches underpinning design and development activities
Demonstrates understanding, knowledge and experience of Systems Engineering
Ability to perform data analysis on large, complex datasets using statistical methods (e.g MATLAB)
Hands-on experience with complex, real-world systems
