Adaptations Officer

Location: 130 Cowley Road, CB4 0GU

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Duration: 5+ Months

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 20.98 per hour

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage building services and maintenance projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.

Assess and implement necessary adaptations to buildings to meet accessibility and safety standards.

Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to oversee project execution and resolve any issues.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in building maintenance and adaptations.

Prepare reports and documentation related to ongoing and completed projects.

Provide expert advice on building services and maintenance to stakeholders within the Cambridge Town Council.

Person Specification

Proven experience in building services, maintenance, or a related field.

Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

Knowledge of relevant building regulations and standards.

Ability to assess building adaptation needs and propose effective solutions.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Eligibility to work in the UK and compliance with Cambridge Town Council policies and procedures.
