Salary: Negotiabledepending on experience (based on a 40-hour week)

Hours of Work: Standard hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-4.30pm on a Friday with a 1-hour lunch break.

Job Requirements: The successful applicant would join our mechanical and electrical estimating department and would be experienced in producing mechanical tenders from initial enquiry through to hand-over. The job role consists of reviewing and assessing tender documentation and requirements, issuing enquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers, take-off drawings, analysing received quotations and input items of plant and materials into our existing estimating software for the project. Submitting accurate and competitive tenders within a given time frame and producing a schedule of rates when required.

  • Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Good IT skills, especially in Excel.
  • A good team player.
  • To be open to learning the fundamentals of electrical estimating.

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have approx. 5-10 years’ experience and a mechanical qualification in Building Services HNC would be preferred.
