Looking for your next step in practice within a supportive, forward-thinking firm? We're now looking for an Accounts Technician to join our client, a top 50+50 Accountancy practice, in the Bridgwater office on a permanent basis.

Whether you're AAT qualified or qualified by experience, if you enjoy preparing accounts and supporting a broad range of clients, this could be the role for you.

Main Duties

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be involved in:

• Preparing financial statements for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• Drafting personal and corporate tax returns and computations
• Providing bookkeeping and management accounts services to a range of clients
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Ensuring client accounting records are accurate and up to date
• Filing documents with Companies House and HMRC on behalf of clients
• Supporting the team with general admin tasks and helping ensure everything runs smoothly
• You'll be working alongside experienced colleagues and supported by managers and partners who are invested in your development and success.

This is a hybrid role, offering both home and office based work each week.
