Description

• Prepare and review management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Oversee budget preparation and monitor variances against forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
• Support funding applications by preparing relevant financial documentation.
• Manage the restricted and unrestricted funding.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex financial matters.
• Manage a team of 3-4 people.

Profile

• Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
• Proven experience in management accounting within the not-for-profit sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with restricted and unrestricted funding.
• Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A commitment to upholding the values and mission of the not-for-profit sector.
